Service Target Group: |
※Anyone who meets the following conditions and is referred by the psychiatrists from inpatient and outpatient service in KSPH or from the other hospitals. |

- People who live one-hour public transportation away from KSPH and can come to KSPH by themselves or would have their family members to drop them off and to pick them up to attend the daytime activities in KSPH.
- People with no obvious violence attempts toward themselves or the others
- People whose disease progression is stable or who can be persuaded to accept daily treatment
- People who can concentrate for more than 40 minutes.
- People are transferred and approved by psychiatrists.

Treatment Objectives: |
- Shorten the stay of full-time hospitalization.
- Enhance clients’ compliance with medical treatment.
- Develop their self-care ability.
- Strengthen their social interaction skills.
- Increase their motivation to work.
- 6. Develop their interest in leisure and entertainment activities.

Service Content |
※The arrangement of activities is mainly based on the goal of daily activities (recreational/occupational therapy and various group activities). The activities provided include the following: |

- Medication
- Psychological counseling and therapy
- Group therapy
- Self-care training
- Socialization training
- Occupational therapy (including job training)
- Recreational therapy
- Individual counseling and therapy
- Arrangement of leisure activities

Charge Standards |
※The health insurance card holders need to pay 10% of the medical expenses; The severer illness card holders are exempted from the medical expenses. Patients need to pay for their own lunch. |

Referral Process: |
- Inpatients:
Psychiatrists fill out a referral form after assessment → the referral form is sent to the Daytime Hospitalization(DH) →a 3-5 day trial is conducted → the medical team performs an assessment → the psychiatrists issue hospital admission permits to those who meet the acceptance criteria → family members/patients go through the hospital discharge and admission procedures → participation in various therapy activities → patients' performance during the courses is assessed on a regular basis (3-6 months) → preparation for discharge → referral to the community rehabilitation program to continue various rehabilitation and treatment services.
- Outpatients:
Deemed suitable for the DH service by psychiatrists after assessment → visiting the ward (or conducting a 3-5 day trial) → outpatient psychiatrists fill out a referral form → family members go through the hospital admission procedures → participation in various therapies/activities → patients' performance during the courses is evaluated on a regular basis (3-6 months) → preparation service for discharge → referral to the community rehabilitation program to continue various rehabilitation and treatment services.
